Joe has been a long term player in the I.T. Industry. Starting in IT in the early days of the 1970s, on a working trip to New Zealand, his return to Australia saw him move into operations management where he quickly learned what it takes to keep an enterprise running smoothly.
Taking a lateral step into IT recruitment in 1983 he was able to combine his personal charm with his knowledge of industry needs to achieve notable success and a solid reputation at all levels of industry as a recruitment consultant.
In the intervening years he has interlaced his work in recruitment with senior project management, business development, and even General Manager IT for our most famous insurer. Always with a recognition that he was a manager of real people, and not the currently trendy buzz-word ‘resources’. Joe has come a long way from the 18 year old roustabout that left Benalla to work on the Snowy Mountain Scheme.
Don’t be fooled by his forbidding exterior; it masks a warm and fuzzy heart. Joe is a people person through and through. He has a quick and impish sense of humour, enjoys a laugh, but knows when to be serious. Joe has that extraordinary, but rare, talent of being a good listener, and not only that, he actually understands.
