Handmade Fountain Pen
Writing with a fountain pen is painting on paper, an art that is as old as 1500s. The medium size nib is giving you a connection to the paper you won’t experience with any other pen type.
This handmade fountain pen is crafted from Angelim Rajado wood also known as marble wood. An exotic wood type carefully hand selected to make this artisan writing instrument.
The color of the wood is ranging from a brown to yellow body with darker stripes, like veins, which gives the pen its very unique and distinct look.
A chrome finish provides a superior contrast to the wood and puts the pen body in the center of the view.
The magnetic cap provides protection for your pen nib or can be attached to the rear of the handmade fountain pen, when not in use.
Natural Finish Pen Body
Our pens are coated with a nontoxic, water resistant “high friction polish” that blends fine scratches leaving a flawless semi-gloss finish. The final product is achieved with multiple coats of Australian Shella wax that is durable and radiant. The feel of the natural finish offers an experience that reflects that of touching the body of a guitar which is unparalleled.
As the pen has a wax coating, over time it will begin to wear down. Therefore, we suggest refinishing with a light wax coat. You may find the instructions here, along with our recommended wax.
The process of each pen is unique and takes a minimum of 2 days to complete to ensure you are offered a product of pure excellence.
Please note that as our pens are handmade and from wood, the grain flow, shape as well as the coloration may vary from the sample photo.
